During the premiere episode of the Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix India, actor Ranbir Kapoor shared a fascinating story about his family's connection to Salman Khan. Ranbir finally revealed that as a kid, his sister Riddhima was a huge fan of Salman Khan, and there used to be posters of him all over her room. And, quite surprisingly, Salman even appeared as a bartender at Riddhima's wedding in the year 2006.

During the show, the host, Kapil Sharma, brought out this memory when Ranbir's mother, Neetu Kapoor, laughed. Neetu Kapoor had shared how Salman Khan had taken charge of serving drinks at the wedding, and since then, guests were all calling for more. Even Rishi Kapoor, as the father of Riddhima, could not believe that alcohol was running out, for the guests left all their drinks to be served by Salman Khan.

After becoming a fashion designer, Riddhima married Delhi businessman Bharat Sahni, with whom she has a daughter, Samara. Coinjsoni, known for movies like Delhi Belly and Airlift, is all set to make her on-screen debut with an upcoming Netflix India reality show, Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives.

Their professional lives have often crossed paths, though their personal histories have been different. Ranance once dated Salman's ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif, and they starred together in many films. When asked on The Great Indian Kapil Show to name his favorite childhood idol, Ranbir, much to the astonishment of everyone, he named Sanjay Dutt—the same man he would later go on to portray in the biopic Sanju.

Coming back to their upcoming projects, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Love & War, while Salman sets out to feature in another power-packed actioner, AR Murugadoss.
