It is pretty apparent that Salman is hogging all the limelight when it comes to the pre-release promotion of the film and is present in each and every frame of close to half a dozen new promos that have been cut.

"It was better to carry the promos on Salman's shoulders," confesses Bhushan, the film's producer and head honcho of T-Series, "We didn't want to show too much of family members or dialogues between them. Yes, we have thrown a little bit of comedy here and there in the promos. However by and large the film is indeed playing on Salman's image and we want the message to reach out to the audience."

Meanwhile director Anees Bazmee goes on to add that the film is not just about the chartbuster tracks 'Character Dheela'/Dhinka Chika', the immensely well received theatrical promos or half a dozen 30 seconds clippings but is much more than that.

"'Ready' is wholesome entertainment and there is out and out confusion from start till its finish. There are certain scenes in the film that would make you laugh like never before," he says, "Salman is playing the kind of character in the film which is bound to click with the masses. He knows he has a successful film in hand and hence is super excited about it."

Well, come 3rd June and it would be known to one and all whether Salman's excitement has rubbed upon audience as well.
