Salman in Satte Pe Satta remake!

Yes, sources say that the actor will be seen in this Big BÂs yesteryear hit movie. Directed by Raj N Sippy, ÂSatte Pe Satta is a story of seven brothers, the eldest being played by Amitabh Bachchan. Hema Malini was his heroine and several supporting actors had played his brothers.
The remake idea is said to have hit SalmanÂs bro Sohail Khan. Sources say that Sohail is in talks with Mr Raj and Romu Sippy and they are working on acquiring the rights of Satte Pe Satta. While Sohail will be producing the movie, birdies hint that David Dhawan will direct it. Sohail is very much excited to work on this and said that it will take another 10 days to finalise everything. Over the rremake, Sohail said, ÂDespite it being a multi-starrer, Bachchan was the only lead; the others were supporting cast. Here, too, it will be the same. Salman will be essaying a double role - the characters of Ravi and Babu. However, Sohail wonÂt be acting in this one as producing this remake will be a mammoth task. ÂWe will have to look for seven actors, seven actresses and then the villains. It will be a huge film. We will be signing on friends and people we have worked with for the rest of the cast as we need to be comfortable with the people we work with.Â
