Salman Khan's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri is on cloud nine these days, thanks to the success of his production 'Bodyguard'. The movie which is enjoying top slot at the box office has inspired the actor turned director-producer to think much bigger than 'Bodyguard' for his next venture.

Latest buzz is that Agnihotri is planning to bring out a biopic on the superstar Rajinikanth. According to him, the idea was given by his ad filmmaker friend, Lloyd Ba Pista, who will direct the project.

Since the movie revolves around such a megastar, Agnihotri considers it to be a great responsibility, at the same time believes that shooting for it will be an enriching experience for them. On asking why a movie on Rajini, Atul quoted to sources, Rajinikanth is an icon. When I read books on him, I was very impressed...it has the beauty of the pursuit of happiness. From the production angle, I thought it would be a great project to work together on.

Meanwhile talks are going on that Salman might play the globe famous screen icon. However, Agnihotri maintains that they are still in the script-making stage and one things falls in place, they will approach him.

As of now they are keeping their fingers crossed for Rajini's approval for the biopic.

After creating blockbusters like 'Wanted', 'Dabangg' and now 'Bodyguard', Salman is touted as Rajinikanth of Bollywood by certain trade analysts these days. So guess it would be no wonder if Sallu bhai steps into Rajini's shoes for reel. What say?
