Call Salman Khan a friend in need, for he was in Chennai last evening to attend the music launch of 'Markandeyan', a film which has his good pal FEFSI Vijayan's son Sabarish in the lead.

FEFSI Vijayan, who is a popular South stunt master, is responsible for high voltage action scenes in Salman's 'Dabangg', 'Wanted' and also his upcoming film ‘Bodyguard’, which is a remake of Vijay's 'Kaavalan'.

"Salman has high regards for Vijayan and he immediately accepted the stunt choreographer's invitation to preside over the audio launch," sources say.

Needless today, the presence of the B-town’s hunk gave 'extraordinary visibility' to the film. Besides Salman, Tamil top star Vijay and hottie Shriya Saran were also present at the event which was held a popular multiplex in Chennai.

At the event, Sallu miyaan was seen warming up with beauty Shriya. We wonder if some project is cooking up between the two… Or is Salman just enjoying some company, since he seems to be an odd man out in the south locale….
