If Salman has his way then it will be a sure sweep for the Congress party in the UP. Reports indicate that the actor has been roped in to woo the public to vote for the Congress and precisely to support Anu Tandon, the congress candidate, who has her roots in Unnao village in Uttar Pradesh.

Sallu who has the top ranking amidst the young crowd was seen shaking a leg and entertaining the people of the village, but on a more serious not appealed to the villagers to support Anu Tandon. Ms. Tendon who has been living in Mumbai after her marriage is back in her home town after nearly three decades.

The actor was also reported to have mentioned that Ms. Tandon was capable of turning the small village of Unnao into a place like Singapore if given an opportunity. The actor is believed to have visited villages within UP along with its Congress candidate in a chartered copter. Everywhere the actor went he attracted a large number of crowds who were all eager and hanging on his every word.

Salman, before he wrapped up his speech promised the crowds that he would be back again to meet them.
