The pair of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, popularly known as Salim-Javed, is responsible for writing some of the most iconic film of the golden era of Bollywood. Now filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is preparing to tell the story of this iconic screenwriting duo through a documentry titled 'Angry Young Men'. The title is obviously a nod to the nickname given to Amitabh Bachchan after starring in several Salim-Javed films.
As reported by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Salman Khan through their respective production houses. During a recent interview, Salim Khan himself confirmed the news about the documentry.
He shared, "This news is absolutely true. Zoya (Akhtar) shared this idea (with me) around a month and a half back and she has started her research too. She will also be speaking to all those people, who have worked with us in the past. It’s going to be a long process. It’s not a biopic but something like a documentary."
