Akshay Kumar’s return to action has turned out to be a clap worthy event at the B.O. especially in the single screens across north India. Taking the nation by storm, the movie has broken first record on 1st day of business.

By collecting 14.70 crore net, the movie has surpassed Salman Khan’s “Ready” which collected 13.25 cr nett collections in June 2011.

There are reports of the single screen going wild and crazy in pockets of U.P. Bihar, Rajasthan and the Hindi heartland.. The average collections in single screens is a whooping 85 – 90% which is sensational..

In south, East Punjab however the trend has not picked up to that level and has registered a 60% opening which is still okay..

In overseas the movie has performed better then Akshay’s previous ‘Housefull 02’ with reports of extra ordinary business from UK, Canada and UAE..
