Shoulder long hair, Kohl eyes, rock muscled body. This is the new look of our Sallu miyyan for his forthcoming movie, ‘Veer’. Eros International bannered ‘Veer’ is directed by Anil Sharma and written by the actor himself. Well, the movie is said to be an adaptation of it’s an adaptation of a romanticised historical religious novel of Nikolai Gogol’s, Taras Bulba. One can see the beautiful 2008 Miss UK Universe, Liza Lazarus besides other star casts Mithun Chakraborty, Sohail Khan, Jackie Shroff, Neena Gupta, Aryan Vaid and Bharat Dabholkar.

Now that’s not all. Here is another interesting one about the movie. Salman Khan has a scene where he would use his handsome brawns to fight with a lion! Yes, the film team will bring in a professional Lion to perform the bare fighting act. Talking about the scene, producer Vijay Galani said, "The scene is a rescue act. Liza Lazarus is on a hunting spree in the jungle. Suddenly, a lion attacks her. Salman spots her in trouble and fights the lion to save her."

The scene has been planned to be shoot in the backdrops of foreign location since there are no good facilities here, according to the producer. "The scene was always there in the original script but we had reserved the shooting for the end. We will need three days to film the scene with the lion. Salman is very excited about this. Ditto for Liza" stated Galani.Salman plays an epic warrior and the movie is a period film based in 1800.
