Sallu Phas Gaya

Bubby Kent’s long-delayed ‘Shaadi Kar Ke Phas Gaye Yaar’ is releasing this August 4th. Starring Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty, this dated flick is directed by Adhyaman, who had earlier directed a tear jerking ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’ wher Shahrukh Locks horns with Salman over a fat-n-weary Madhuri Dixit. As the title of the film suggests, ‘Shaadi Karke…’ is about a married man who cribs about losing his independence after getting hitched.

Salman hasn’t had an eventful year at the Box Office so far. His only release has been ‘Saawan…The Season of Love’ where he had a special appearance. The Sawan Kumar Tak film was talked about for Sallu’s weird hair style and sank without a trace.

Now, with ‘Shaadi Karke…’ coming after such a long gap of being made, the trade is not exactly excited about it. Moreover, it is clubbed with two comedies ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’ and ‘Darwaza Band Rakho’ making things even more difficult as public response to comedies has been overwhelming as compared to anything else.

SRK: The Whole World Is My Oyster

He has reportedly charged Rs 12 crore for Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don’. And that makes him the highest paid actor in Bollywood.
