TN family commits suicide over disturbing reason

A man from Salem committed suicide along with his family after they were pushed to poverty due to the unfair behaviour of a few people who inadvertently took their lives away.
Sivaraman was residing in Salem along with his wife and son. He would lend money to several people and charge an interest for the same, which the indebted people were required to pay to Sivaraman every month. The interest was apparently the only source of income for the family. However, people allegedly refused to return the borrowed money despite being requested numerous times by the victim. The family was eventually pushed to extreme poverty, which led Sivaraman, his wife, and their son to take the extreme step of consuming poison and ending their lives.
The news has sent a wave of shock across the residents of Sivaraman’s locality. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem while a case has been registered. An investigation of the matter is underway.
