'Salaar', easily one of the most-awaited pan-India releases of the decade, has got a fresh update. Starring Prabhas and directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has been shot at the international location in Matera, Italy where the globally-renowned James Bond film 'No Time to Die' was filmed. The update came just hours after the first look poster of 'Adipurush' was released on Sri Rama Navami.
We can expect to see "prehistoric whitewashed caves" of Matera in the film. An action sequence has been shot there.
The Italy schedule is currently on. As per unconfirmed sources, this Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films outing features Prabhas in dual roles.
The shoot is also taking place in Naples, which is known for the Palace of Caserta and the Roman ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Piazza del Plebiscito, a great landmark, will be shown in the film.
The local police in Naples are assisting with the set preparations. Drones and lighting for night shooting have been deployed.
The film will also be shot in Rome and Budapest.
