Prabhas after heading the cast of two of Indian cinema's highest grossing films 'Baahubali' and 'Baahubali 2' is now also the highest paid actor in the country. Similarly the most sensational director of the current generation is undoubtedly Prashanth Neel who has delivered two mammoth global blockbusters 'KGF : Chapter 1' and 'KGF : Chapter 2' which are second only to the Rajamouli films mentioned above.

When Prabhas and Prashanth Neel united for 'Salaar' needless to say that expectations are sky high and fans of both the stars are eagerly waiting to watch their magic unfold on screen. Today as an Independence Day special it has officially been announced that 'Salaar' will release on September 28th, 2023 which is a little more than a year from now. That says it all regarding how big the project is.

'Salaar' has Prabhas and Shruti Haasan as the lead pair while Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the chief antagonist. Jagapathy Babu and Easwari Rao play other important roles while Ravi Basrur is scoring the music and Bhuvan Gowda is the DOP. Hombale Films bankrolling the project with one of the highest budgets among upcoming biggies.
