Director Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar', whose principal photography is far from being completed, is one of the most-awaited releases ever. Starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan as the lead pair, the film has locked its release date.

The pan-Indian 'Salaar' will hit the screens on September 28, 2023.

Making the release date announcement, the makers unveiled a poster in which the 'Adipurush' actor is seen rebelling! Although the release date is later than what was expected, Prabhas' fans are hoping that it is going to shake the box office, especially in Hindi, much like 'KGF 2'.

Action choreographers and Art Director Shiva Kumar have worked on the film's schedules. Also featuring Mohan Guruswamy in a key role, 'Salaar' has Jagapathi Babu and Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. The latter is yet to shoot for his portions. The film's music is by Ravi Basrur of 'KGF' fame. Bhuvan Gowda is its cinematographer. The buzz is that the 'Project K' actor is mighty satisfied with Neel's vision for the songs and the background score.
