After five months in waiting, Joshy's latest 'Salaam Kashmir' has got the final NOC from the army chief. Since the movie has been shot at Kashmir and is showing the army activities, it was mandatory for the makers to get an N O C, before it is released.

Featuring SureshGopi and Jayaram in the lead, the movie which was completed by August was earlier expected as an Onam release. But the delay in getting the necessary certificate has delayed its release.

Based on a story by Saiju Anthikkad, the movie is scripted by Sethu. Miya , Krishnakumar, lalu Alex,Vijayaraghavan, Anoop Chandran and Ponnama babu are part of the cast lines of the movie.

'Salaam Kashmir' will now get to theatres by the first week of January,2014.
