'Baaghi' scored again over its second weekend with 7.91 crore coming in. With this, the film's collections now stand at the 67.63 crore mark. The film is all set to cross the lifetime total of Neerja [75.65 crore] and Kapoor & Sons [73.3 crore] this week itself and should be aiming at a lifetime total in the vicinity of 80 crore.

As a star-maker, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has put his money on Tiger and trusted director Sabbir Khan to deliver goods. That would mean that the film now boasts of highest collections for a leading man in his second film itself as amongst the other young stars, Ranveer Singh's Ladies v/s Ricky Behl [32.97 crore], Varun Dhawan's Main Tera Hero [55 crore], Arjun Kapoor's Aurangzeb [22.35 crore] and Sidharth Malhotra's Hasee Toh Phasee [39 crore] had collected much lesser. One waits to see if the trio returns for another film now pretty soon.

As for Hollywood, 'Captain America: Civil War' has turned out to be a biggie too. With 27.13 crore coming in, the film is leading the pack by a distance. Even though as a franchise this isn't hugely known in India, interest amongst audience has been growing massively for superhero films and this means that the film would enjoy a healthy lifetime number.

The newer Hindi releases have not done well though. 1920 London was marginally better as it collected around 7.5 crore* over the weekend. However, this is still much lesser in comparison to 1920 Evil Returns (2012) which had released four years back and had collected 12.3 crore in the first three days.

One Night Stand and Traffic have just not managed to perform though and the footfalls were hardly substantial enough to have made any dent at the Box Office. The two films have collected around 2.25 crore* and 1.5 crore* respectively

Meanwhile, The Jungle Book is scoring reasonably well in its fifth week as well. The collections now stand at the 174.46 crore mark and the lifetime should touch 180 crore. All time blockbuster.

*Final numbers awaited

Note: All collections as per production and distributor sources
