Sajid Nadiadwala rules Television with 'Dishoom', 'Housefull 3' and 'Baaghi'!

Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is riding high as the Television King - for his recent films are grabbing highest TRPs on the small screen.

Recently Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Dishoom' aired on TV and turned out to be the film garnering highest TRPs. The film joined the list of films like 'Housefull 3' and 'Baaghi', by topping the TRP charts. These films not only had the cash counters ringing during the theatrical release, but also garnered top positions in their television ratings thereby showing appreciation for the content.

Earlier on, in 2014, his films, 'Kick', '2 States', 'Heropanti' and 'Highway' got very high television ratings apart from the winning box office collections. Now in 2016 as well, the Gold, Silver and Bronze of cinema have gone to Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Broadcast Audience Research Council, India recently came out with their list of films that have done extremely well in terms of TRPs in their World Television Premieres. Looking at the records this year, John-Varun-Jacqueline starrer, 'Dishoom' is at the top.

Below is the list with their impressions;

1) Dishoom - 95,44,000

2) Housefull 3 - 78,16,000

3) Baaghi - 69,88,000

4) Dilwale - 67,61,000

5) Sanam Re - 56,66,000

6) Bajirao Mastani - 54,76,000

7) Ghayal Once Again - 38,61,000

8) Fan - 34,18,000

Shared an ecstatic Sajid Nadiadwala, "Every year is a different journey but this year has been so much like 2014 when we had a slew of films that became popular choice of mass audience. The idea is to continue making different kind of films that connect with the audience."

He further adds, "About the top 3 television ratings, who will not be happy to get a gold, silver and a bronze at the same time? It's the hard work of all three teams that we have achieved this feat."
