The beautiful actress Sharmila Mandre in nine years of her career has got a very different role in Aake`. She learnt a lot of nuances to get in front of camera. The single mother role in this remake of Maaya`, Sharmila has very matured role to perform which she has not done so far in her career.

It is tucked in horror style and shot in London. Like how a few actors in the past experienced strange happenings, in this film Aake` also Sharmila traced something unusual. All lights were off. Generator was also silent. It was 2 am. Next day two generators were pressed in to action. On the next day also same situation of black out happened. It is a not a common thing Sharmila ascertained later and that was last day of shooting. With luggage she reached London.

For the first time Sharmila Mandre is paired with Chiranjeevi Sarja. Both share screen space for 20 minutes. For the first time EROS international is making leap in to Kannada market.
