In a colorful and grand function at Atria Hotel in Bangalore the Metro Corporation maiden venture in Kannada 'Sajani' starring Dhyan and Sharmila produced by Sonali Nikil – the first Kannada film with nation's pride A.R.Rehman music (the tunes are what he has scored for Jodi Tamil film) audio was released by former President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce H.D.Gangaraj in the absence of Karnataka chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy. The leader of the Mandre group R.N.Mandre appeared in wheel chair to the audio release function. There was huge turn out of film industry and well wishers of Mandreji. Former Chairman of Vijaya Bank Sadanda Shetty released the CD of the film. He recalled how he got benefited from Mandreji to reach the helm.

Five songs of the film 'Sajani' were screened on this occasion. A.R.Rehman in a recorded message has wished the team of 'Sajani' film that was before the screening of songs on screen but after the audio release function.

The major portions of this film 'Sajani' is shot in London and my childhood dream has come to reality disclosed Sunanda Murali Manohar who is the caretaker producer of this film.
