'Sairat' becomes 'Dhadak' for Sridevi's daughter

Sensational Marathi film 'Sairat', which revolves around the story of two lov birds belonging to different castes, became a major blockbuster in 2016. Bollywood's Karan Johar had earlier bought film's Hindi remake rights.

Much to the joy of fans, Karan has announced the much-awaited project on Wednesday. The Hindi version of the film has been titled Dhadak'. The film's poster also features the film's lead artists Ishaan and Janhvi, the daughter of Sridevi.

Director Shashank Khaitan will wield the megaphone for this exciting project. The film will hit the screens on 6 July 2018.
