Ramajogayya Sastry is on a cloud nine. Why wouldn't he be, when 'Sainika' from 'Na Peru Surya' has turned out to be a much-applauded number?
"It has been like a 'prabhanjanam'. I, Vakkantham Vamsi garu and Bunny Vas garu have been flooded with congratulatory messages ever since the song was out on the morning of Republic Day. Imagine the impact when a mass hero like Allu Arjun's stamina meets such a powerful song," he says.
"For Bollywood's Vishal-Shekhar duo, 'NPS' is a huge comeback movie in Telugu. I have the satisfaction of paying a rich tribute to our soldiers on the R-Day. I am happy to see users discuss each line of the number on Twitter and Facebook. It once again proves that our Telugu audience lap up a lovely song every time," he adds.
"The song has been picturized only after the director understood the import of each line. Watching the lyrical video, which has footage from real-life, I myself had tears in my eyes. Chandrabose garu himself messaged me saying that the song will win many awards. Forget awards, I am glad that so many are loving it. This is more than all the awards put together," Sastry adds.
He assures that director Vamsi is ensuring that all the songs in 'NPS' are great.
The film will hit the screens on April 27 (mostly).
