Sailing in two boats

These days no actor worth his make-up is happy with being successful in either Tamil or Telugu.

Since both the markets are lucrative, they want both. The switch-over from Tamil is in fact more.

Look at the number of bilinguals and the simultaneous remakes, you will understand.

Starting with Kamal's Mumbai Express, Rajni's Chandramukhi, Vikram's Anniyan (Aparachitu in Telugu), the list is seemingly endless.

Even young heroes like Ravi Krishna, Siddharth are concentrating in Telugu.

Ravi Krishna's 7G Rainbow Colony that was made as 7 G Brindavan Colony has been a mega hit. So he is again making a bilingual ---- Muddula Koduku under Radha Mohan.

Ravi Krishna's father A M Rathnam in fact plans to release the former's recent Tamil film Sukkran in Telugu with some modifications to get the 'nativity' right.

Tamil actors say that the Telugu market is very lucrative. For one, the money is very good. For another, the open-hearted average Telugu fan doesn't discriminate.

In the event, they are making hay under the Telugu sun.
