Saif's 'Happy Ending' is carrying good vibes

More than two years after Cocktail, Saif Ali Khan is returning in a zone where he is loved most. In this light hearted set up where he can pretty much afford to be himself, Saif has the stage set for himself. This means that he can be assured of a decent enough footfalls at the least. While it is expected that the opening would be around 50% mark, that would be good enough for the film to grow as a genre like Happy Ending can see rapid escalation over the weekend, as urban crowds settle into multiplexes.

Cocktail had taken an opening of over 35 crore and even with a 30 crore start, Happy Ending would have reasons to celebrate as it is a solo release, and hence can stay stable on the weekdays as well. After all, Saif's another solo release Bullett Raja hadn't done wonders and though Race 2 did go on to touch the 100 crore mark while Humshakals took a good opening as well, these films were multi-starrers. Now with Happy Ending promising a feel good appeal, all that one waits to see is the kind of content that director duo of Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru has to offer in this musical affair.
