Guess who has turned out to be a surprise package in 'Omkara'?

It cannot be Saif Ali Khan or Ajay Devgan since the tailor made roles for them ensured that they get all the recognition they deserve. It's not even Viveik Oberoi since an act like this was anyways long due from an actor of his caliber. Even the women power of Kareena Kapoor, Konkona Sen and Bipasha Basu did their job well as their metamorphosis was in synch with the characters as envisioned by Vishal Bhardwaj.

So who is the one who still managed to make his presence felt amidst such an ensemble starcast?

It is Deepak Dobriyal who has made a smashing debut as Raju, Langda Tyagi's [Saif] friend rolled into pawn! Playing the role of a desi UP bhaiyya to a kind of perfection that one rarely finds in mainstream Bollywood films, he always managed to lit the screens in whichever scenes he appeared.

In fact his debut show reminds of Rajpal Yadav who created a similar effect when he was noticed most for his dacoit act in 'Jungle' as Sushant Singh's henchman. One wishes Deepak good luck and expects to see more of him in the coming days!
