It was recently reported that Saif Ali Khan, Sriram Raghavan and a handful of crew made a quick fire trip to Russia where they shot for 'Agent Vinod'. Now this could well be the shortest trip ever taken by Bollywood film crew as their stay in the city lasted for a mere two days. Even though this mini trip did cost them a lot, they are not regretting the moolah spent as apparently the shots are really integral to the film.

"Yes, we landed in Russia in the afternoon, shot for a couple of days and then returned. It was our shortest overseas travel for 'Agent Vinod'," laughs Sriram, "However we haven't shot these portions just for the sake of to tell audience that 'Hey look, we went to all these places'. Instead, we did that, because we couldn't shoot these shots in any other part of the world. Saif's exit from the airport is a part of a very important sequence and we couldn't have allowed it to go tacky. When you watch the film, you would realise that it has turned out to be quite an iconic shot."

Hope the trip as well as captured shots is worth the price of the ticket!
