With champagne being popped along with 'Cocktail', the disappointment of 'Agent Vinod' has been left far behind.

First step in this direction is another film that Saif Ali Khan and his co-producer Dinesh Vijan would be making with director Sriram Raghavan.

A thriller, it is expected to go on floors very early next year.

"In fact the subject has already been locked and quite some progress has already been made on the film.

Sriram has been giving finishing touches to the film and a formal announcement would be made soon.

It was always on the anvil though since Saif has high regard for Sriram and feels that he has it in him to deliver goods.

He was plain disappointed when 'Agent Vinod' didn't do well commercially but he is proud of it till date. He now wants to leave everything behind and has given a go ahead for Sriram to direct the film under his banner", says a source. However, it is unlikely that Saif would be featuring in it in the capacity of an actor as well.

"Saif has his hands full with five-six other films which are in different stages of production", the source continues, "Everyone knows that he wasn't even keen to do 'Cocktail' too but had to do it when things didn't quite work out with Imran Khan. However for the Sriram film there is a very good probability of another actor being roped in.

Saif and Dinesh would be there as the producers and would give everything that is required to ensure that the film goes through smoothly."

However given the fact that each of the films (Love Aaj Kal, Agent Vinod, Cocktail) coming from the production house has so far featured Saif and even 'Go Goa Gone' would feature him in a special appearance, one waits to see if the actor would actually manage to stay away entirely from front of the camera.

The film is touted to be a slick and edgy dramatic thriller which would take Sriram back to the 'Ek Haseena Thi' and 'Johnny Gaddaar' days.

The film's leading lady as well as the title would be revealed soon as well. We tried contacting Saif, Dinesh and Sriram but they were unavailable for comment.
