Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Kunal Kohli’s film and there are reports of Saif and Vishal Bahrdwaj teaming up again. Its good news for Saif and his acting career which saw a downfall after his successful addition to the producers list with ‘Love Aaj Kal’. But soon came ‘Kurbaan’ that flopped which affected his market appeal.

There where speculations that ‘Agent Vinod’ might not see the light. Suddenly, there are reports of Kunal Kohli and Vishal Bhardwaj doing a film with Saif and ‘Agent Vinod’ getting the backing of Cinemax and Eros handling the distribution. Some industry insiders are of the opinion that the star might have approached the makers to cast him in their films and not as reported in the media. The insiders believe that the survival instinct in Saif as an actor has made him to break his ego and ask for work from the two helmers who are instrumental in shaping his career. The industry close hand justifies by giving this reason that both the makers didn’t approach Saif when he was having a tough time after ‘Kurbaan’ and now suddenly everything is falling in place and that can happen only when the star himself approaches the helmer for work.

Such is the irony of this glamour world where nothing but your last film counts and the above incident if true suggests that even if you are a star, one flop and you might have to ask your favourites for favours in order to survive.
