Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has recently undergone a tricep surgery at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital on January 22. The surgery was necessitated by an old injury that resurfaced during an action sequence for his latest movie, 'Devara,' contrary to earlier speculations about injuries sustained during the shooting of 'Devara,' including knee and shoulder injuries. The actor's wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, has been by his side at the hospital, where he is currently admitted.The actor is said to have sustained the injury during the filming of Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon in 2017.

Acknowledging the concern and well-wishes from fans, Saif Ali Khan expressed gratitude and assured everyone of his improving health. In a statement to the media, he shared, This injury and the subsequent surgery are part of the wear and tear associated with our profession. Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Om Raut's 'Adipurush,' where he portrayed the character of Lankesh based on Ravan's character in the Ramayan. His recent project, 'Devara,' features Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor alongside him. Despite earlier speculations, the tricep surgery was not related to knee and shoulder injuries but was a result of a recurring old injury.
