'Republic', starring Sai Dharam Tej in the role of a District Collector named Panja Abhiram who takes to political reform, is written and directed by Deva Katta. The political thriller has picked its release date.

The film will hit the screens in style on October 1. Tweeting about the release date, the 'Prati Roju Pandage' actor wrote, "Panja Abhiram from #REPUBLIC is most loved character of which I have played to date." 'Solo Bratuke So Better' was the last movie he was seen in.
It's interesting that 'Republic' has skipped the window offered by the first half of September. At a time when films like 'Seetimaarr' and 'Love Story' are looking to arrive in September (it is believed that it is a safe month before the third wave that might arrive in the future), the Mega hero's movie has chosen October.
Starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Ramya Krishna and Jagapathi Babu in key roles, 'Republic' has the screenplay by Deva Katta and Kiran Jay Kumar. Katta has penned the story and dialogues by himself. Subba Raju, who is acting in 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', has a role. Comedian Rahul Ramakrishna has a part.
Mani Sharma and M Sukumar have taken care of music and cinematography, respectively.
