The other day, when senior Naresh opined that Sai Dharam Tej should have been careful while driving the SUV bike, actor Srikanth came out in the open and mildly criticized Naresh's choice of words. The 'Pelli Sandadi' actor said that Naresh shouldn't have made a mention of those who were killed in bike accidents (such as the son of Kota Srinivas Rao).

Naresh, who was recently seen in 'Tuck Jagadish', today said that Srikanth's counter has caused him hurt. "I wonder why he made those remarks. I am sure that Sai Dharam Tej was not in the wrong. He was not a reckless driver when he met with the accident. He suffered the accident only because of the accumulated sand on the road. I only talked about the need for caution. I didn't refer to any dead person," Naresh said.
Naresh subtly hinted that Srikanth is still nursing the wounds of his defeat at the hands of his panel in MAA years ago. "I have seen you make a mark in the film industry in front of my eyes. I request you not to give bytes like this. You got defeated by my panel. Your bytes are leading to bites from the public. Thousands of people are trolling us. I have been in the film industry for decades. I have always stayed away from controversies. The next time you give a byte, please consult elders beforehand," Naresh lectured to Srikanth.
