Sai Pallavi to work for second time with Nani

In February, Natural Star Nani's collaboration with director Rahul Sankrityan of 'Taxiwaala' fame was announced. Titled 'Shyam Singha Roy', the project is produced by Sithara Entertainments.
The news is that Sai Pallavi is almost in for 'SSR'. As per a Deccan Chronicle report, the young filmmaker has said that talks with the 'Fidaa' actress are fruitful. Rahul Sankrityan added that it is going to take some more time for the full picture to emerge. If everything goes well, 'SSR' will be the 'Viraata Parvam' actress' second outing with Nani, the first being 'MCA'.
The original plan of the makers was to release the film on December 25, 2020. But its shoot is yet to begin due to the pandemic. The film will hit the screens only next year.
The buzz is that the promising project will be shot in Kolkata, among others. It's one of the few Kolkata-based Telugu movies in decades.
