Premam` girl Sai Pallavi has been "threatening" a Tami debut for a long time and after rejecting offers with Karthi and Vikram finally confirmed the Charlie` remake directed by Vijay opposite Madhavan.
However, there seems to be a delay in the take off of Charlie` for some unknown reasons and Vijay has instead opted to do a quickie horror film. It is said to be a woman centric horror film titled Karu` with Sai Pallavi playing the lead role. The project is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and will begin after the release of Vijay`s Vanamagan` starring Jayam Ravi and Sayeeshaa Saigal.
