The audio of 'Karu', the Tamil version of 'Kanam', was released on Saturday in Chennai. Sai Pallavi, the film's lead, was all smiles in a green saree.

"I take this opportunity to thank the Tamil audience for making 'Premam' a big hit. The story of 'Karu' is something to which I have been emotionally connected," she said. Baby Veronica plays her daughter in the movie.

Also starring Naga Shourya, the AL Vijay-directed drama is produced by Lyca Productions. Lyca is also set to make new announcements in Telugu and Hindi very soon.
