Sai Pallavi asks media to only address her as a Tamil

Sai Pallavi is better known as Malar Teacher after her pathbreaking role in the multi regional blockbuster Malayalam film 'Premam'. The Kotagiri born, Coimbatore raised young actress went on to do more films in Malayalam and Telugu and rejected a number of high profile Tamil projects resulting in media speculations that she is not interested in her native language films.
However after two years since her debut Sai Pallavi has completed 'Karu' directed by Vijay in Tamil and has also signed 'Maari2' opposite Dhanush. The Telugu media had widely written that Sai Pallavi is a Malayali to which she has strongly reacted asking the press to address her as a Tamil girl.
