Sai Dharam Tej met with a road accident on September 11 last year. Today, after nearly six months, the 'Republic' actor issued a video statement in which he spoke with a tinge of emotion and loads of gratitude.
"I have learned about the importance of being thankful, happy, and the place of family in my life in the last six months. I would firstly thank Syed Abdul (a stranger), who took me to the hospital after I met with the accident. Humanity is still alive and he is proof. I thank the doctors and hospital staff who took good care of me during the treatment," Tej said. The 'Winner' actor also mentioned Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalya, Allu Aravind, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Upasana Kamineni, besides his film industry colleagues.
Tej thanked his fans and the fans of other actors for praying for his health. "I thank the media for disseminating information about my health," the 'Prati Roju Pandage' actor added.
Finally, Tej thanked his helmet for saving his life. "It's because of my helmet that I am still alive. Please always wear it, no matter how little distance you are commuting. Helmet saves your life," the actor signed off.
Tej revealed that his new film will be launched on March 28. It is produced by Sukumar and Bapineedu.
