Last year, Sai Dharam Tej was in the US for several weeks.  He didn't reveal the purpose of his visit but sections of media had their own speculations to make.  Some said that he was in America for liposuction.  Other sections claimed that the Mega hero was there for a hair-plant surgery.

The actor has finally opened up on the issue.  "In 'Winner', I had to do some horse riding scenes.  I suffered internal injuries because of the physically taxing practice sessions and shots.  I didn't realize that the injuries would turn out to be serious. When 'Tej I Love You' was being made, it became impossible for me to even gym.  This is when I decided to be trained by a sports-related doctor.  I took his appointment and went to the US.  I am now cured totally," he said.

'Chitralahari', starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nivetha Pethuraj as female leads, will hit the screens tomorrow (April 12).  This is Sai's most important film in a long time.
