The mega energetic star Sai Dharam Tej will be on the big screen to entertain his fans soon in an action packed romantic entertainer called Jawaan.

The movie`s pre-release look will be released on 8th June, 2017.

Starring next to Tamil actor Prasanna (who plays the antagonist) and his female lead Mehereen Pirzada, Sai Dharam Tej will be seen as a patriot in the new movie.

Talking about Sai Dharam Tej`s role, Director B.V.S. Ravi says "He plays a patriot. In a conflict between country and family, he chooses the former. The character will require him to shed weight and undergo a special makeover."He also clarified that the title Jawaan has nothing to do with a soldier."He (Sai Dharam Tej) is not playing a soldier, contrary to rumours. The title here refers to something young and it suits Tej's persona in the film"

The movie is being made under the 'Arunachal Creations' banner. S.S Thaman is the music director of Jawaan. Which means that more awesome music for fans!

According to sources close to the music director, 'Almost 3 of 5 songs have been completed' and we can`t wait for the audio launch.

The movie is being filmed in India for the most part but some parts of it will be shot in foreign countries.

When asked about the villain`s role in Jawaan, the director said 'It's a role on part with Tej, and you won't see Prasanna playing a typical villain. It's unlike anything he has done so far in his career' said the director about Prasanna`s character.

Sounds like a treat for both Telugu and Tamil audience!
