The police have said that Sai Dharam Tej met with the road accident on Friday night because of sand on the road. While he was not overspeeding, the actor couldn't navigate the bike when it stepped on the sand. His bike skid and he fell down.

Amidst the reports and CCTV footage pointing fingers at the neglect by authorities, several Netizens are calling for a police complaint to be lodged against those who are responsible for the neglect.

In his post, music composer RP Patnaik requested the cops to file a case against the construction company responsible for the accumulation of the sand on the road. He added that the municipality officials too should be held accountable.

Many Netizens are saying that the roads are meant to be clean and safe for riders. "Something exemplary has to be done so that the authorities wake up and make our roads safe for commuters," they are arguing.
