'Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham' - that's how it all began. Two years ago on this day one more youngster from the Mega family would have his first release. Although the first reaction toward him was relative, Sai Dharam Tej has since held his ground, growing film after film.
Although his debut was followed up by a flop ('Rey'), 'Subrahmanyam For Sale' helped him bounce back. The fact that he now had done a film with names like director Harish Shankar and producer Dil Raju said it all. It was a star in the making for sure.
Anil Ravipudi projected him in a new way in 'Supreme', this year's Summer hit. 'Thikka' was a flop, but never mind.
Besides doing a special role in a film directed by the dream director of many - Krishna Vamsi, Teju has a film in the direction of Gopichand Malineni, set to be released in Feb, 2017. The 'Nakshatram' of Tollywood is raring to go ahead.
Box Office report is inspiring, too. If his first movie collected about Rs. 10 cr share at BO, 'Supreme' minted Rs. 25 cr. "Two years since my first release... still feels surreal... its been a great learning experience... thank you all for being part of my journey," he tweets.
"Teju's next is going to be a unique project under the direction of BVS Ravi," it's learnt.
