Director Gautham Menon is happy that, despite the liquidity crunch following demonetization, 'Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo' is doing good at the box office. He has revealed that an element in the film is inspired by a real-life incident. Believe it or not, a doctor who faced threat from land sharks, wrote UPSC's civil services exam and went on to become an IPS officer with the aim of using the law to nab the criminals.

"Naga Chaitanya becoming a cop by writing the UPSC exam is inspired by the story of a doctor, who set up a hospital in a Tamil Nadu village. When he was threatened and the land on which his hospital was built was sought to be transgressed by the 'goonda' elements, he wrote civils, became an IPS officer, got himself posted in the same village and arrested them legally," Gautham Menon reveals.

An exciting 'sahasam swasaga sagipo' moment indeed!
