Sahara Manoranjan's magnum opus "Karishma - The Miracles of Destiny", featuring talented Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor in a pivotal role, is making waves in Pakistan.

After Sahara sold the satellite rights of the serial to Pakistani channel ARY Gold, the serial is reportedly being lapped up by Pakistani audiences since it went on air a few weeks ago.

The multi-starrer mega serial has completed 200 successful episodes in India on Sahara Manoranjan.

Apart from Karisma, it also features other Bollywood stars like Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Arshad Warsi, Sheeba, Jugal Hansraj, Mayuri Kango, Tinnu Anand, Deepshika, Ayub Khan and Vikas Bhalla.

The serial is produced by Sheeba Akashdeep and Abu Ali Shroff of Cinetek Telefilms. The Creative Director of the show is Akashdeep.

"Karishma", one of the glossiest and costliest Indian television serials, is the story of a lady with an iron will - Devyani (Karisma Kapur)- who was determined to make it big in a world dominated by males. The serial shows Devyani's progress from a rags to riches story.

"When I took on the show, I knew that this was a great challenge. I had to enact the role of a young girl and an old woman at the same time and be convincing as well. It is great fun being part of this show, more so as Sahara is like a family for me," said Karisma Kapur.
