A single from Karthi’s forthcoming political satire ‘Saguni’ will be unveiled on his birthday that falls on May 25. This will be followed by an audio launch on May 31 as per highly reliable sources from the unit.

The film is tentatively slated for a June third week release however the makers will officially announce this once the film is censored.

Music is by GV Prakash Kumar and the album is touted to have five varied tunes each belonging to a genre. Lyrics are by Na Muthukumar, Paramu, Viveka and Annamalai.

The political drama helmed by newbie Shankar Dayal sees Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles and brings back the hit ‘Siruthai’ duo of Karthi and Santhanam who had the audience in splits in their earlier venture. ‘Saguni’ sees Roja, Nasser, Mumtaj and Kota Srinivasa Rao in pivotal roles.
