With one big opposition from Telugu ‘Julayi’ – three Kannada films are contesting this Friday 10th of August in the battle of box office.

The highly reputed banner in Kannada cinema Ramu Enterprises much expected film is ‘Sagar’ a romantic family based subject with lovely faces like Prajwal Devaraj, Radhika Pandit, Haripriya and Sanjaana has very interesting storyline says dialogue writer BA Madhu. MD Sridhar director of some of the big films in Kannada is director of this film with Gurukiran music and Krishnakumar cinematography.

The presence of Radhika Pandit has further raised the hopes. She is not only lucky but also highly talented. She plays the main protagonist in ‘Sagar’. A film filled with love, romance, action, family sentiment and mischief is the first film for Dev Gill of ‘Magadheera’ fame.

BA Madhu in dialogues, Krishna Kumar camera, Kaviraj lyrics, Gurukiran music, Mohan B Kere art, Sounder Raj editing, three actions directors Palaniraj, Ravi Verma and KD Venkatesh, two choreographers Chinni Prakash and Ramu add to the value of this film. Avinash, Sharath Lohitashva, Vinaya Prakash, Sangeetha and others are in the supporting cast.

Renuka Enterprises first film by Dr Gururaj Kavalur shot extensively in northern Karnataka is ‘Mutthina Hani’ is the saga of a patriot. Releasing on the eve of Indian Independence day this film main thrust is on mother and motherland. Sri Manju is making debut as hero, Swathi is heroine. Dev Anand, Killer Venkatesh, Sunethra, Biradar, Malathi Sardeshpande, Madhu, Prasanna Shetty, Kunigal Bharath are in the cast.

A horror film with some experiment to hit the silver screen is ’12 AM Madhyarathri’. The happenings around Medical College experienced hand Kashinath looking at every development for the film. This is veteran Kashinath Production Training Institute first film. Kashinath has already saved 25 percent of the film for the new producers Smt Prathima and her husband Vijayakumar.
