It is all Modi, Modi, Modi. Exit Polls have unanimously said that the BJP-led NDA will retain power this time on the back of a massively impressive performance in the Hindi heartland.

If Axis My India says that NDA will win anywhere between 339 and 365 seats, Today's Chanakya thinks that it will secure 350 seats. Most political observers are giving much importance to the predictions of these two pollsters because of their excellent or impressive track record. Axis My India interviewed about 7 lakh voters in 542 constituencies and it's expected to have hit the bull's eye.

CVoter gives 287 seats, which means NDA will get a simple majority. This agency has a decent track record in predicting vote shares but has a very bad record in predicting seat shares.

Jan Ki Baat, another reliable agency, gives NDA 305 seats.

Several other pollsters have also given a thumbs-up to NDA. The counting day is May 23.
