Sadhvi Pragya removed from Parliamentary committee

Controversial BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya was recently included as a member of the Consultative Committee of Parliament for the Ministry of Defence. There arose a huge outcry over this inclusion of the terror-accused MP from Bhopal.Following this outrage, Sadhavi has been removed from the committee.

Incidentally, this comes a day after she created a flutter in the country by terming Nathuram Godse, Mahatma Gandhi’s killer, as a patriot.  Although her remarks were expunged, calls for punishing her have been strong.  

Meanwhile, the saffron leader is also in the news for calling out Anderson, the Chairman of Union Carbide Corporation during the 1984 Bhopal disaster, and describing him as a terrorist.  “A foreigner comes here, kills thousands. There are many who are still suffering. The then Congress government helped him escape. This is terrorism,” the Bhopal MP said yesterday in Lok Sabha.
