Chadwick Boseman, who was diagnosed with state III colon cancer in 2016, is no more. The famous 'Black Panther' actor passed away at his home in Los Angeles. He was 43.
"He battled the disease as it entered the fourth stage. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From 'Marshall' to 'Da 5 Bloods' and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honour of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in 'Black Panther'," a note from his PR reps said.
"The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time," the statement added.
Rich tributes are flowing in from all quarters. The official Twitter handle of Marvel movies said, "Our hearts are broken and our thoughts are with Chadwick Boseman’s family. Your legacy will live on forever. Rest In Peace." "Chadwick was even more of a hero off-screen than on. You brought joy and happiness to so many and I am proud to have been able to call you a friend," 'Spider-Man' actor Tom Holland has been quoted as saying by Hollywood Reporter.
