Often referred to as the God of Cricket, have we wondered whom Sachin himself considers to be his ‘batting hero’? As improbable as that might seem, Sachin looks up to West Indies batsman Vivian Richards as his hero. Vivian celebrated his 66th birthday yesterday and guess how Sachin wished the legendary batsman!
Sachin took to his social page to share his wishes in which he had shared a nostalgic picture of the two great batsman gleefully smiling, Sachin holding a bat and Vivian with a guitar. Vivian Richards was a terrifying batsman during his time who captained the Caribbean team from 1980 to 1991. His career spanned from 1974 to 1991 during which he played a crucial role in West Indies winning the 1975 and 1979 world cups.
