Cricket's most revered player, Sachin Tendulkar has warned ICC that the two -new- balls rule in ODIs is favoring the batsmen and giving the bowlers a raw deal which is a recipe for disaster. He has stated ""Having 2 new balls in one day cricket is a perfect recipe for disaster as each ball is not given the time to get old enough to reverse. We haven't seen reverse swing, an integral part of the death overs, for a long time."
Sachin is obviously referring to the ongoing England versus Australia One Day series where the home side is making merry with the visitors having no clue how to counter the death overs brutal hitting.
Sachin's biggest rival and legendary bowler, Waqar Younis has seconded Sachin's opinion and has added "Reason why we don’t produce many attacking fast bowlers..They all very defensive in their approach...always looking for change ups..totally agree with you Sachin, reverse swing is almost vanished"
