When a youth hailing from West Bengal took celebrity crush to a whole another level, he should have known that trouble was nigh. Deb Kumar Maity was arrested by the police for threatening to kidnap cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara if she did not reciprocate his feelings.

The youth who developed feelings for Sara throug television had somehow caught hold of Sachin’s residence landline and had repeatedly called her over 20 times. A complaint was filed with the Maharashtra police who later nabbed the youth along with the aid of Kolkatta police department. 

While the 32 year old professes love for Sara, his family claims that Deb is mentally unstable. However, the police is continuing investigations as to how the culprit might have gottento know Sachin’s residence landline number and if there are any third party involved in this.
