The trailer launch event of '800', the Telugu-Tamil-Hindi-English release, is going to be a huge affair. To be held in Mumbai on September 5th, the event will see the starry presence of several cricketers and film celebrities.

Since the movie is based on the life and times of the former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muthaiah Muralitharan (who took 800 International Test wickets like no other), the 'God of Cricket' Sachin Tendulkar himself is going to be there as the chief guest. He adores Muralitharan's matchless talent, much as the Sri Lankan likes Tendulkar's unparalleled batting skills.

Senior Tollywood producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is going to release '800' across India in the month of October. He is happy with the pace of post-production underway. The trailer is expected to set the tone for promotions in the coming weeks.

Director MS Sripathy has cast Madhur Mittal in the role of the celebrated bowler. Ghibran of 'Saaho' fame is a specialist in BGM. He has composed the music for '800'.
